B.J. 'Jack' Wingfield passed away Thursday, June 17, 1999, in Dallas,
Texas, following a long battle with cancer.
Mr. Wingfield was born January 8, 1929,
He retired to Lake Norrell, which is located a few miles west of Little
Rock, in 1991. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wingfield
and Florence Wingfield Knight.
Survivors include one sister, Lynette
Singer Morris of Dallas, Texas; two nephews, Mark Singer of Garland,
Texas, and Craig Singer of Coppell, Texas, and their families; Aunt
Bertha Morris of Ripley, Tennessee; and cousins Joe Morris of Ripley,
Tenn., Pam McCart of Novato, Calif., Marsha Pugh of Homer, La., and
Charlotte Gates, Becky Nohse and Debra Friar of Shreveport La., and
their families; and a host of loving friends.
A memorial service was held Saturday,
June 26, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church near Lake Norrell.
Interment was in Southfork Cemetery near Gurdon.
